2016 DeMarini Bat Reviews

If the release of DeMarini’s 2016 line of bats doesn’t make you happier than a tornado in a trailer park then we’d guess you found this blog by mistake. Arguably, no company puts more thought into the release of their composite and alloy bat line than DeMarini and anyone who follows this stuff should be salivating like a butcher’s dog. (Our 2017 CF9 Review Page is Here)

The 2016 DeMarini baseball line, which we highlight below by category, is as thoughtful a release of baseball bats as we’ve ever seen. (Find DeMarini’s 2016 Fast-Pitch softball reviews here). The 2016 baseball line takes the four lines of bats which have dominated the market for years (CF, Voodoo, Vexxum & Insane) and divides them into 21 different line items with 21 unique color schemes which leverage DeMarini’s custom bat technology. No longer, for example, does the Youth Barrel look like a shrunken BBCOR but, instead, it has a color scheme directed at its target market.

This proliferation of custom looking bats makes for a hefty list of images in a single blog post. Subsequently, this page may suffer in google rankings because of it. Yet the beauty of the designs is well worth the added loading time. We hope you enjoy.

As the summer months continue, we will write individual reviews on these bats as we get a chance to swing them and compare them. For now, we simply give some previews of our reviews to come and take some time to appreciate some aesthetically pleasing color combinations.

2016 DeMarini CF8 Reviews

DeMarini’s 2016 line will, without surprise, include a two piece composite bat in the ever famous CF series called the CF8. It will come in a whopping seven different sizes including a BBCOR; Drop 5, 8 and 10 in the 2 5/8; a drop 10 and 11 in a 2 3/4; and a drop 11 in the 2 1/4.

We will write more about the CF8 as we get some hacks and feedback in, but from all we can tell on paper, the CF8, like many of its predecessors, will beat leather like a taxidermist. Here is what they will look like.

2016 DeMarini Voodoo Raw Reviews

In addition to the CF8, The Voodoo continues its hot out of the wrapper hybrid approach to hitting in the 2016 Raw. There are a handful of noteworthy upgrades to this bat but we’ll save many of those for the in depth review once we get it in hand and get some feedback from players. Suffice it to say we are confident the bat will continue to be a loved bat among stronger players looking for maximum distance.

The 2016 Voodoo Raw will come in six different sizes and, like the CF8, rely on the custom technology of DeMarini to drive particular color schemes to players who prefer it the most.

2016 DeMarini NVS Vexxum Reviews

The Vexxum will be back in 2016 with some color ups and a few upgrades we’ll discuss at length in a later review when we take it for a spin. In 2016 the Vexxum will continue to serve as a lighter swinging hybrid option that has most the technology found in the handle and transition of the CF8 and Voodoo Raw. It will come in 4 sizes:

2016 DeMarini Insane Reviews

The 2016 DeMarini Insane will also grace plates this year in the hands of big hitting homeboys who aren’t bothered by sting and feel inspired to go big or go home. It will be a one piece stick of dynamite with a thicker grip and a shorter handle flare compared to last year’s version. It will, like the Vexxum, come in four different sizes.
