In conjunction with our report on the Little League age changes, and which leagues it effects, below are Little League age charts, calculators, links to division rules and a conversation on cutoff dates. Do note, although Little League is its own organization, at least a few other youth baseball leagues follow their lead on rule implementations. Other leagues do not follow them at all---which makes understanding the rules before you sign up both vitally important and difficult to keep track.

Little League Age Charts

These charts are published on Little League's website. We simply cropped them from the PDF and put them here. They are at least a little bit confusing---especially the 2018 season where the change in little league cutoff dates is affected.

But, once you get the hang of them, they are easy enough. Simply find the month your child was born and follow it down to the year they were born. Once your cell is found, the far right column is the lowest age division your child can play in.

Below are the age charts for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
